Thanksgiving morning mine work fine watch a movie. Went shopping got couple of movies added them to Vudu on PC. Tried to DL them to the Vudu app on Fire 10 got a message could no longer use it. Since May others have lost theirs too. I just didn't think after all this time they mess with mine.
I didn't put it on to begin with some one on MR email it to me and all the stuff that goes with it. Everyone on the Amazon Customer Forums say it cant be done.

I've noticed quite a few price changes going from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. Many stores have raised their prices by $5-$10 for many of the devices featured in this thread. Again proving that Black Friday generally has lower prices.

Received most of my Best Buy order today (one BluRay is on backorder). I am waiting for the cases I ordered from Amazon to arrive before I go to AT&T to turn on the new phones for my mom and dad.

Me too, got my Alcatel Pop 4. Trying to get Ivona TTS, installing Amazon app store to get it. Althought that didn't work. So annoying.

Nice, big phone.

*sigh* I am behind the times....Kindle for Android doesn't even have TTS. Maybe I'll stick my SIM card on the Alcatel and use Fire phone for TTS. Problem with that is, the Kindle app on the Fire phone takes 30 seconds to open, which seems like forever, when you are waiting.

Not any more, they don't. It's not even listed on the "kindle devices" page. Wayyyy down at the bottom of that page, is a picture of an Oasis, so I clicked on it. "UNavailable"

Maybe they sold out of the Oasis early. I didn't think most of the deals were that exceptional this week/weekend, but I just read that sales overall were up and expected to be up for Monday. I couldn't even find anything too exciting to post at the blog today other than a couple of good font sales. Traffic to the blog year over year has actually been down for me, but I think the automation of devices already attached to Amazon keeps some people from looking elsewhere for the deals. They just go straight to Amazon.

Several items I blogged did sell out and I had to take them down or put up different ones. Interestingly enough some of the best selling items were some Random House popular books that were on sale. Interest in Kindles was down, but that's to be expected since 1. The sales weren't spectacular (mostly the same as past deals) and 2. the produce overall is well-known and not new.

I'm all done with my shopping unless something REALLY super comes along!

Yup -- me too! And I got smart this year (rather than halfway through the shopping extravaganza, like last year) and had the "for family" gifts shipped to the location where we'll be gathering. So I don't have to try to transport items on the plane with me.

My mom is amazed at the stack of boxes accumulating in her spare room .....

My phone arrived today and I got a very pleasant surprise. I ordered the LG Tribute HD from Best Buy for $20. While looking at the box (I haven't opened it yet) I noticed a discrepancy in the amount of onboard storage. The description from Best Buy says 8GB, the box says 16GB.

Needless to say, I'm quite pleased at what I'm getting for $20:

LG Tribute HD --> Oct 2016 release, And 6.0, 1.3GHz quad CPU, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 5.0" 294ppi display, 8MP rear cam w/ flash, 5MP front cam.

Now to get a rugged case for it.

I just looked and same with the LG Phoenix 2. Best Buy had as 8GB and the box says 16GB.

TubeMonkey I just got done Downloading GooglePlayStore & Vudu on to my Fire 10... don't know why others I have read on Amazon Customer Forum claims it cant be done.

Thanks - I'll change the specs

That extra 8GB makes a big difference. I'm always struggling to keep my apps under 4GB when I only have 4~5GB to work with on an 8GB phone. Now I won't have to worry about a lack of space.

You people lucked out. I found out that with android 6, apps can't be moved to the sd card. So a device with 8gb would be really awful.
