Why? Embedded Youtube does NOT load the video unless you actually bother to hit the play button. Until then it is just a small picture that loads. Other than bandwidth, the oversized pictures also mess up the layout.

If your browser cannot handle it, you should be using the mobile version at http://mobileread.mobi so should I... but I like living close to the edge and am willing to pay the price of regular crashes when using hacked software on an embedded device.

I very highly doubt that. Like I said before, Youtube videos do not load until you hit the play button. You have to go out of your way to force Youtube videos to preload, let alone completely buffer the entire video.

If you enabled something in your browser or installed a plugin that does automatically prebuffer youtube videos, then that is entirely you own fault.

It caused a major slowdown using both Firefox and MSIE. So no, it's not a plugin. It's the fact that all of those videos have to be gotten from YouTube and Flash has to be used for each one.

I like the image, but three fonts for the title? Bit too much. I also don't like the font of the word 'Aeronaut's'. Besides that small point, I really like this one.
