I saw a cartoon today where some sentient airplanes flew to Titan. When nightfall came they got very cold, but somehow they appeared perfectly comfortable while flying to Titan in interplanetary space.

Well I'm hesitant to use the word realistic when sentient airplanes are involved, but heat loss isn't much of an issue in a vacuum. It's actually much harder to get rid of heat, since there is no air to carry it away.

Incidentally, the Odyssey one was originally going to have large panels protruding out of the engine section in order to provide cooling through thermal radiation, but it was felt that audiences of the movie version of 2001 would confuse these for wings.

Our entire numerical system would be based on 12. The fingers are what inspired it.
