Sometimes I get the feeling that ms (mrs?) Spencer is more than just a friend of mr. Butcher... I don't know why exactly, but just a feeling. Oh well, not important anyway.

The synopsis on Amazon got me interested more in the Cinder Spires, although I have no particular interest in steampunk at all.

I was wondering too, is it possible to also list the official and/or relevant twitters (like Jim's) or pages (facebook, etc) on the first post too so that it'll be easy for fans to find them? That is, if it isn't against the forum rules to and if it isn't too much trouble.

I wonder if Jim Butcher could make something of a magical Bat-story. I am no big fan of Batman itself - too much Marvel super hero graphic novel stuff. Spiderman, now that is some nice movies, IMO. But also, I am not sure how good they are adopted from the graphic novels. Maybe it is more sound or believable science than that used in Batman? Superman, same thing, over the top crazy, obviously unreal. Except, I am enjoying Smallville as still being over the top, but gradually increasing and easing into weirdness. We are only ventured as far as the begin of season 2 (got the box of all 10). So for me, so far, Smallville is better than Superman even though it is the same person ...

So I suppose I could like Batman as well with a Butcher twist. He would probably even best Spiderman (the movies) and Smallville (the tv show).

No no, don't put too much on his plate, keep writing Dresden, mix in Cinder Spires until done, and only then tackle another series to go inbetween the rest of the Dresden books. I would not mind, after Dresden is complete, to get series that coexists within the Dresdenverse - maybe this time from the view of a non-human being.
