I used this coupon! Thought I could get a good deal and extra My Rewards points. But...

Maybe someone here can clear up my confusion. On the My Rewards site there is an offer:

LOVE INSPIRED MAY 2017 BONUS
Earn 1000 points for each Love Inspired, Love Inspired Suspense, and Love Inspired Historical May 2017 title you purchase from wherever you prefer to shop.

I purchased 10 of these books today (using the coupon). The thumbnail on the site says "May 2017" for each of these eBooks. The listing page for each eBook says "On Sale Date: May 01, 2017." But in the space above the individual formats says "Jun 2017" (I assume it is the actual publication date).

I received 5,000 points for my purchase and expected 10,000. So, is the 1,000 points for eBooks PUBLISHED in MAY 2017? Or on SALE in MAY 2017?

I also receive a subscription for all 6 Love Inspired Suspense every month. Usually arrives on the 1st of the month. This month I did not receive them on my bookshelf until the 3rd. And I have not received any My Rewards points. I sent an email on the 3rd. Still no points by the 16th so I sent another email. I try not to complain too much or inundate them with email. I still have no (3 weeks later) points for my subscription nor an explanation if the eBooks qualify for the extra points.

Anyone else having any similar problems?

I thought that sucked too, but fortunately I live close to where I work and usually come home for lunch. Got my cart ready this morning and checked out at lunchtime.

Goldilocks, because it says "May 2017 title you purchase", I would assume it is only for those Love Inspired titles that were published in May.

And I agree on the sale - having it in the middle of the day means I don't even hear about it until it is over. Most days, I don't even manage to get away from my desk for a long enough lunch break to even check my personal email on my phone. Nevermind browse a website & buy stuff.

I think it varies. I was told I would get a one time 1000 bonus for a book bought in May. The receipt I submitted was from April but I still got the bonus.

It had to be submitted manually because it was Google Play. So it depends what the service representative thinks.

So, if they were sold in Apr and published in May, guess they would qualify. So, the ones I purchased don't. So anyone who who purchased the May issues in Apr can't get the points either (like my Apr subscription for May eBooks).

I would have missed the sale today too, except I have been checking my email before work everyday concerning my rewards points.

Did you submit the receipt in May? They probably didn't verify the date.

I did. The receipt said clearly April but I got the May bonus anyway. So a human decides on what you get from certain stores while from others it's done automatically.

I saw the email before I went to work since I normally check emails in the morning. I only get a half hour break though and I need to eat! Plus, I have no internet access at work at all.

ETA: I mean no personal internet access while at work. No free Wifi in the area and we're not able to use the work computers for anything personal.

A Lady in Hiding is the second in the Archer Family Regency Romance series by Amy Corwin. It is free right now at Kindle US. I have read several of Corwin's Second Son Regency mystery series and a couple of her romances, and enjoyed them all. It's tough to classify the ones I've read - IMO they sit right at the intersection of mystery and romance, but in the end, I went with the series name and put this one in romance...

I'm reading Archangel's Consort by Nalini Singh.

It's not a bad series as urban fantasy goes but it's heavy on the sex. I'm starting to skim those.
