I've never needed to do this in bulk so there may be a way to do it but I don't know how. I'm not very techie and don't tend to experiment unless I have to.

I don't know about this method working with AZW3. Isn't that the proprietary format for Kindle Fire? Are those books readable through the Kindle app on a non Fire device? Someone else would have to chime in here.

Maybe you could upload your Calibre books to Dropbox or another cloud storage and open them from there on your phone? I'm an Android user so I don't know the exact ins and outs for iPhone but you should be able to do something similar.

I just did exactly what you're saying with my co-worker.She just got a new iPhone and I showed her the Marvin app I've heard so much about here. It took a little getting used to as I'm an Android user but we got get going and she's loving it.

I use AZW3 on my Kindle For Android app and I know Jack uses it on his Ipad so I assume it works on the Iphone.

AZW3 is a KF8 book that works on any Kindle not just the Kindle Fire.

On Android you just put the book in the Kindle folder.
