I was feeling guilty about that when the magic code worked. So much so, I used a 50% off code for a novella I really wanted.

I still feel that way at times with some Harlequin books. Especially older ones that I could have gotten duing their megasale that I didn't know I wanted at the time. But then I get over it (mostly).

Hoping Harlequin at least does a 50% off day again this year with their 12 days of Christmas annual sale. I've got a list of books I don't want to buy at Kobo due to their formatting issues.

Finally caved and used the big Kobo code. Got a Harlequin bundle for 75 cents. Because I needed more Harlequins like a need another hole in my head.

I'm in the process of using calibre to split the bundle into books. I don't like dealing with omnibuses... omnibii... hmmm.

I have such a backlog of purchased books since I got me a Brooklyn subscription last spring. My subconscious goal since then, I think, has been to always have a borrowed book on my Kindle. And because they're borrowed, I've read some genres of fiction I wouldn't normally read, and broadened my horizons, so to speak. It takes a *lot* (favorite author, favorite trope) to get moved to the top of the TBR list (that I may never finish at this rate!).

Have you read any of the previous books? I read the full series and thought the whole thing was very mediocre. They had potential but was just a lot of "too little of this/too much of that". I won't read anything by her again.

I've read the first 4 of the 7 I bought when they were on sale for $1.99. It's been uneven (2.5-3.5). The premise of each of the books is promising but like you said "too little of this/too much of that". She could probably use a different editor.

I don't get that game at all. I guess I just wasn't very good at it. (Had it on my phone for a few weeks, but uninstalled it). I still have 4 pics 1 word on my phone, but since the last update it won't open

To me, games are mostly a giant time suck and I have too many books to read and DVDs to watch to justify spending time on them. Not to mention a whole host of other projects I need to get to.

Okay here is my book purchases this week! 16 Books in all. Not too bad and I got my refund on my HDX so I am all set for Black Friday!

As some of you know I bought a Nexus 7.2 Tablet this week that I am just crazy about! It's perfect for reading! Small form factor that I can hold it with one hand! I couldn't do that with the HDX. It's a little heavier than HDX but not by much. It's much slimmer though and I just love it! I highly recommend this tablet. It uses Normal LEDs so no light bleed that I can tell. I am using the Kindle App, Mantano and Moon+ Pro Reader to read on. The text rending on the Nexus 7.2 is much better than the Kindle Fire HDX 7.

So I've been reading more of Revealing Us this week. Trying to finish it so I can move on to the Christmas reads but if I don't I will just lay it aside till after the new year.

Right now converting Christmas books to the KF8 format for the Kindle app which works great. I don't miss the Kindle Fire at all. Line Spacing works on the Kindle app it didn't work right on the HDX.

You know how I love the Kindle Sepia theme? I used a color picker to put it on Moon+ Pro Reader which also has Time Left to Read on it. I am in reading heaven.
