Well you can't go wrong @ $119. I got a second Fire HD (2012) and I was gonna root it, but decided not to. It's good to have a stock Fire in the house.

I use my Fire HD 7.1 for streaming content (videos, music, web) outside the home (family, friends, work). That's because it lives in an OtterBox case. Otherwise, my Nexus 7.2 is my go to device.

It's the 16GB one too so $50 off is awesome! It will be here tomorrow along with the BISSELL Lift-Off Floors & More Pet I ordered after seeing my MIL's and now I look it's on sale for $10 less than I paid for it.

So my holiday shopping wasn't as big last year but I got some nice things.

I plan to use it for media too. My wall garden stuff of course I think it will be nicer to watch movies on it. I like the wide bezel. My N7 has hardly any to hold on to.
