Lewis Shiner 99-cent ebook sale at Subterranean Press! Physical copies on sale as well.

Mr. Shiner is a wonderful author whose talent went largely unnoticed during the "Great Cyberpunk Boom" of the mid-to-late 80's. There's not a bad book in the whole batch, but I personally recommend Glimpses, a very personal Rock 'n Roll alternate reality novel that pulls a lot of the same heartstrings as Ken Grimwood's Replay.

Bloodsucking Fiends, by Christopher Moore, is on sale at Amazon for $1.99. This was the book that got me into Moore's work. It's a very, very funny vampire story, if that isn't too much of an oxymoron. Moore's books don't go on sale very often, so if you've been curious to check him out this is a good entry point.

(Moore isn't typically associated with Sci-Fi, so this is also getting posted in the general fiction thread.)
