Like many others I have a Kobo N647B with a "Kobo Read On" screen and "dancing squares"
Could I have a copy of the image for installing on internal micro sd card.

I have a bricked Kobo N647B and have tried all the standard recovery methods.
Have got the back off and got the micro sd card out ready for an image replacement.
Any out there?

The image file fixed it - thank you, David.

Curiously, the image would not fit onto the original 2GB SDmicro card; the old image was 1,921,024 bytes while the fixed one is 1,931,264 bytes. So I now have a larger card holding the image - and everything appears to be working.

Hi, I have a bricked Kobo N647B. It did a software update and now I can't get it past the loading page. I've tried everything to get it working again but no luck. Unfortunately I hadn't read about the problems with the update before the Kobo did it. Does anybody have an image file for me to copy to the Micro SD? Thanks in advance.

Hi! I have most of the problems described by Altivo here after an "upgrade" of my N647B to 1.9.12 (I don't use an external SD card so haven't noticed a problem with that.)

Could somebody please send me a link to the replacement image?

Could I please get the image file too please? and instructions as how to do it? I am seriously frustrated I was just using it and all of a sudden everything disappeared and now when I plug it in nothing shows up on the device not even any kobo files.
