9.99 Wow you must love Nina Bangs.

I have hard limit of $8 on a book and that is only a tried and proven author. I haven't spent a penny on the Rock Chick series. I got them all through Kindle Lending. It's a really good series. I can't wait for Ally's story. It seems I've been waiting forever. August can't get here soon enough.

Bad boy alpha coma - love that! I like KA but she's soooo over-the-top I have to take it a bit at a time. I reached the 3rd Rock Chick book and took a break. I have four books (three I've started already) that I want to complete, then I'll go back to the Rock Chicks.

I really like Nina Bangs but honestly I need to watch that 1-click cause I didn't notice the price until it was too late. I know I'm going to enjoy the book anyway. Lord I hope so...lol

I totally agree with you. She's not someone I can read more then a few chapters at a time. It's my bedtime reading anyway. The fourth book is the best of the series so far. Book 7 is the worst one I have read so far. I though book two was my least favorite due to not being able to stand the heroine but book 7 took it's place. It just doesn't have that Rock chick magic like the other books. I love Hector though and Sadie is okay it's the storyline that is just eh....

I haven't read those yet. I hear they are some of her best. I must read in order so it may be a long time before I ever get to them.
Sweet Dreams and Rock Chick Renegade are my favorite I have read so far and Knight would be the one I hated. It was my first KA book and it's a good thing I always give a author a second chance because Knight was really bad. OMG the Dialogue was so much gibberish. It left me scratching my head. I then read Sweet Dreams and I loved it! After that I picked up Rock Chick because I was looking for something like Stephanie Plum, After that I was hooked! Lee's no Ranger but he is pretty awesome in his own way.

I accidentally bought a book this week so I know what you mean about 1 click. I returned mine though and got my money back.

Poop, I already bought 2 books tonight. I JUST finished convincing myself that I was not going to fall victim this week. GAH it's impossible !
ETA in case anyone was waiting for Jared book 2 of Protectors by Teresa Gabelman to drop, it's $.99. And this ones been around awhile and not sure how I missed it but it's got great ratings. The Proposition by Jennifer Lyon.

And free paranormal, 3 books of the Druids series by Marata Eros. [I've only ever seen the first one come up]. I didn't post links cuz I need to leave the temptation behind...

I thought I was doing well this week until guys made it obvious I wasn't. I am a sucker for the Avon sales books, especially since they count towards the ARe freebie.
Here's the damage for the week.

I'm also declaring a 1/2 book credit for any books purchased as a direct result of reading this thread. Soooooo. . . .

That takes me down to 7.5 books which is an improvement over recent weeks.
