It showered last night, today more showers are forecast. It's windy too, otherwise quite pleasant for the time of year !(!).

I can arrange an underwater pipeline if anyone can provide funding - for an extra bonus I might be able to link you up with a distillery !

Did anyone see the northern lights last night? I went to bed early and didn`t catch them. Recent solar activity meant the Auroras Borealis were going to be visible at our latitude the last few nights.

Still too light here until 11 (ish) .... Not seen the lights for a couple of years !

The perseids should be building up to a show in the next few nights ... especially as were moving into a new moon phase.

Back up to 100 F today - with humidity in the 60 - 70 % range --> heat index of 105 - 110 F.

Heavy thunderstorms last night - so this morning air was saturated - stepping out of the door literally sucked the air out of your lungs!
