There is a member sale going on at Audible. Don't know where the link is, but it's 50% off retail price of all audiobooks. Typically they only have this sale in December. I discovered it when visiting my wishlist.

If anyone's been using audiobooks.com lately, are the downloaded files DRM-ed, or can they be moved to an mp3 player after they're downloaded in the app?

I just downloaded my latest title (5/1) and it worked fine. Audiobooks.com doesn't make it easy, however. You need an Android device. Download the title to your device, then you can find it in Android\com.audiobooks.androidapp\files. The name of the file will be a series of numbers with an mp3 extension, and no DRM.

Great, thanks. I received an e-mail for a one-month/two-audiobooks free trial, so I think I'll take it--for two freebies, I don't mind a little bit of hassle.

The website is showing only the usual one-month/one-audiobook free trial, so apparently it's a targeted offer.
