Good evening/night/morning/day, everyone! I rooted my Galaxy Note yesterday and installed the Gnabo ROM... The operating system (ROM) is basically KitKat. I have a brand spankin' new (used) KitKat tablet! The 2014 version costs $1000 so... I saved quite a bit of money. lol

If anyone's interested, the YouTube video for rooting and installing the custom ROM on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is at Install Root and Gnabo Rom on Samsung Note 10.1 All you need is a ~$200 tablet (you could purchase one at eBay.com), knowledge of the jargon (if you research rooting and ROM a bit, you'll pick it up), and courage! : )

I can't believe I rooted it... Now I'm going to root my sister's tablet. I purchased one for her too. I think I'll do so within the next few days after I clear my desk... definitely sometime this week.

Yes, you could! It took me months to understand the jargon, I admit, but it's doable! It's just a matter of having the tablet, the right tutorials (e.g. the YouTube video), the necessary files, and a bit of patience and courage! : )

Good afternoon, everyone! Been downloading apps and working on my new-used KitKat tablet. I'm almost always working on a tablet, come to think of it... I guess it's my latest obsession. 'Hope everyone's had/having a good day.

Programming or other tech-jargon is like math to me, the only thing that's supposed to be easy for Asians (and the rest of my family) except for me. Haha.
