A furtive figure darted from shadow to shadow near the Casino. The figure was followed closely by a Japanese man, dressed neatly in a business suit.

"At least you could make an attempt to remain hidden!" said the first person.

"Ah, my dear Hilda, it is better to blend in to the foreground than to be seen lurking in the background. If we were to ask any of the citzens that we passed along the way which of us they remember, it would be the lady acting as if she had something to hide, rather than the businessman out for an evening stroll."

"I doubt that very much, Mr Miyatake. I have had schooling in the finest intelligence academy in the world. We need to be furtive and sneak up on our target."

Just then, two Cubans walked by. Just in the range of hearing, one of them said to the other, "I wonder why that large German woman was trying to hide behind that potted plant?"

There was a moment of silence. "Oh, very well! We'll do it your way!"

Hilda stepped out of the shadows and took the proffered arm of Mr Miyatake. They strolled toward the Casino, nonchalantly. Across the street, four Cubans sauntered in the oposite direction, occasionally looking over their shoulders, as if being pursued.

Just outside the side door to the Casino, they paused. From the shadows, a voice said, "We are trying to raise the Titanic."

"Why is it that he can hide in the shadows and I can't?"

"That's not the counter sign!"

"Be quiet, you insufferable little man!"

"That isn't either! I'm out of here!"

"Hilda, perhaps I should handle this, hmm? The parrot cannot fly backward."

"That's more like it! I mean, And if there is custard in the icebox?"

"We shall wander across Ethiopia."

"Right! The chairs are set in place. Here is the detonation trigger. After your player has won the tournament, turn this and push that red button."

"And here is your gold, Mssr le Terrible. It has been a pleasure working with you."

"Whatever. I have a cigar factory strike and demonstration march to organize."

The pair of spies, arms intertwined, walked casually to the front of the building.
