Hello. Tell me how to do it right? I have an SD image. Do I need to transfer this image to my micro SD Kobo? Or convert the image somehow? I'm just new to this.

Hi everyone !

The screen remains frozen after a failed update. I disassembled my kobo. I removed the battery and the screen cloth.

The screen still displays the frozen home page.

any ideas?

That's eInk: it doesn't need power to display stuff (well, to *keep* what was displayed up, technically).

(This is just to say that this is not a great benchmark for potential failures ^^).

I imagine you've already tried a hard-reboot and a hard-factory reset?

I already tried Hard reboot : 20 second on the power button/ push the reboot button with a paperclip a hundred time...

I already try to tap the screen's corner witch my fingers.

The "reboot" button doesn't work like that. It only does something if the device is actually running. It will restart the device, but it doesn't turn the device on.

The factory reset instructions you need to follow are the last set on https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kobo_Reset:_Aura_H2O. All the steps are important.

When after I using wifi upgrade , it cannot start up and the light flashing
I think the img file was crash. Any one could send it to me
