I was with you in spirit my dear, (it sounds the most appropriate word to use), but around Milano with my little family all day. a 48 meters Xmas tree offered by Tiffany & Co, being the highest point. The result is that to day I thought it was Monday and that screwed (is that a word that is admitted on these premises?) all my schedules, So I had an early lunch for my Monday duty at 12:30, while it was at 13:30 (like every Thursday). Typical of the profession, to have an empty head.

Good luck! I hope your surgery was successful. I wear two large behind-the-ear hearing aids (my hearing is too poor now for those little discrete in-the-ear units that I used to use) and I still can't hear my wife when she tells me to take out the trash!

Hearing is something we all take for granted. Don't. These days I have to crank up the volume controls just to hear myself play guitar. I know that my electric kettle plays "Fur Elise" when it boils but I can only hear two of the note frequencies. At least the tea that we make with it still tastes good; right now, a big mug of Yorkshire Tea to start the morning!

Be careful with the empty tea bags. They seem to be available in different qualities. Some that I bought felt like coffee filter paper and others felt like soft silk. For me, the coffee filter paper type give a paper taste to the tea, sort of like Lipton's Tea. The soft ones don't seem to do that, and are the same price as the others. If you have an Asian market in your area, you should find them there, as well as ordering on line.

Some folks enjoy tea for the taste alone, others for the tastes and colors. I think many of us love the 'ritual' involved with tea as well. I know that I do. But I also enjoy the history of tea, the story of tea, or perhaps I should call it the Life of Tea. Here are some of the books that told me of that life;

It's wonderful that modern medicine can keep people hearing properly. I'm happy for you.

Now... I wonder what can modern medicine do about alleviating the need for Celestial Seasonings?
