I just went to Ikea for my morning walk because it was too cold for me outside.

A little 14 oz french press for $5.99. (The link is showing the 34 oz one, but I got the small one.) It's just so cute -- can I make tea in it, and how should I go about it?

Edit: Just found a good video about this. Basically she says, yes you can, but why exactly would you want to? I did try it though, with some Earl Grey, and it was good.

Cold Arabica-coffee in my cup.
After all these years of cold coffee, I actually like it and am known to safe my cold coffee from waitresses, colleagues and such.
I'm often quite distressed: where's my coffee. Well, it was cold. NO, I always have it cold.

For tea.
After she discovered that she likes good tea, I bought her a good thermos, 750 ml. then we realised that in order to brew tea for the thermos she got to use 3 mugs + 3 mug infusers. It is a bit inconvenient, isn't it? So, I bought this ...I call it tea infuser, although the proper name probably is a coffee press? She used it today in the morning for the first time and loved it. I got an extra kiss for that
She is quite happy with the current setup because she cannot drink rubbish tea bags they have at work anymore
Frankly speaking it is a big big surprise for me. She always drunk coffee and its derivatives while I drunk tea only. I think she started to adapt to drinking tea about two years ago when she finally gave up on trying to convert me to drink coffee. The only coffee related drinks that I enjoyed are inaccessible in real time. Cuban latte and Mexican cappuccino Only when/if we have another all-inclusive there maybe next Christmas or the following summer. Although, I doubt it will happen in he near future. We are saving for a car, planning to buy it next fall, then she will want to travel all over Britain. So, for me Tea Forever!

I got 200 g. of keemun and drank it this evening when the 3 of us came back from a day in town (it is St. Ambrogio in Milano, the big feast, were you there ProfCrash for it?). The little one met her first white statue, had her first trip underground (very much impressed) and a very fruitfull session with her gnocchi, her mother crabs and my Tbone steak.
