I've had delicious weather for my first holiday week, although I was prevented by the rain to visit an exhibition on Wednesday (they closed down my section of metro line because of flooding). I didn't mind the thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday, I just stayed home and painted and read. Otherwise the weather has been perfect: mostly sunny with a nice cool breeze. I hope it continues for the next two weeks

We didn't get them out this way, although they've been predicted all week. It's been mighty dry since summer began. Hot and humid, but very little rain. I had to add water to the pool again today when Norton & I went for our swim at 6PM; 90⁰ in the pool, 100⁰ on the deck.

Our high was 93 today...about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday but back up to 100 tomorrow...
