I've been an Amazon Marketplace seller--and they do NOT get paid for marking it shipped. You have to ship within one day to STAY on as a marketplace seller, but you don't get paid until delivery. If there are any complaints or the shipment arrives damaged or is not the right item you eat the cost. Period. Amazon doesn't even want to know what went wrong or that the buyer may be quibbling over nothing. (It's not quite that bad, but close.) So if there is any problem with the item, you will get your money back. I really don't think you'll have a problem.

It is true that if the item is coming from China, there will be a long ship date. I have ordered things from China and have had to wait 4 weeks. But the item came, worked as promised and was the correct item.

JoHunt and Catlady, that happened to me once before. No big deal. The item is currently not on sale at Amazon, so I have not passed up a great bargain to take a chance.

At least they have a job. Alot of people don't. Getting on to work at Walmart is tough. Getting help during Black Friday when you are handicapped can be difficult. This is why I never let sis take mom anymore. She got pinned one year by a display in electronics by some jerk. The workers did nothing to help and were less than courteous. Not all Walmarts are like that though but it does happen.

It's a "daily deal", you know, not an hourly thing. I looked, a while ago but after you posted that "it was over', and at THAT point, there was still an Instant Pot on sale.

Instant Pots look way too complicated LOL. I like my crock pot and my steamer, set it and forget it! I like my one button coffee maker, too.

DH still said no to me getting a Dot, even with the $10 card. I'll just have to hug my Echo. (Which I bought for him....) I'll see how he likes it next time I take it to another room, and he wants to play music!

You could save $20 if you qualify for Prime Now shopping. Can't beat a $20 Echo.

I try to go to the after Christmas sale as close to opening as possible. That's how I've gotten really cheap gallon Ziplock bags for a couple of years now. They put the ones with Christmas designs on them on sale for 50% off! I also usually pick up a bunch of candy to keep around for Dad. They seem to have a better selection left after Christmas than after Halloween or Valentine's day.

I have bought almost nothing from Black Friday sales. Mom ordered a Roku 1 from Roku direct since it was on sale for half price, but that's it so far. I was given an old laptop to try to fix and need a cheap SSD. But since I'll be using this thing if it works, I don't want a crappy one. So I'll wait for a deal I can afford on a decent one.

This is what is wrong...

No one at my Walmart was Forced to work! & they were paid Double those that did. The ones that did were Down right RUDE Yelling at customers That were Not doing a thing! Told me they were going to Call the cops if I didn't take my hands off of a item!! Something I been sitting there Reading on my cell for Over an hour! Just because they Just decided to Finally at 6:05 PM to unplastic so customers like me could get to the items & get out of the way of other customers! That's only 1/2 of what went on!
