Hi davidfor. I've accidently ruin my kobo when I press Yes to windows notofication to repair my sd card.

Appreciate if you can send me the SD image.

Any instructions on how to install the image would also be helpful.

Was the card still in the device when you did this? If so, Windows will only have affected the user partition. A factory reset should solve this.

If it was the whole card, then I can send you a link to the image, but I need the device model. As you are posting in the thread for requests for a WiFi image, I assume that is what you have. Bud, do you have, N647, N647B, or N289?

And for instructions, see Memory Upgrade Mod Guide. That is for the Glo, but the basic steps and tools are the same.

Hello, I tried to install Koreader to my Kobo and now it isn't responding at all. The only thing that works now is the on/off LED. The screen shows "kobo read on" and the 7 little black squares at the bottom. I tried any types of resets, but it had no sense. What can i do? I have Kobo 647

In this type of situation, the first thing to do is to charge the device. Very often, the problem we see did something to use a lot of battery and run it out. Then, until the device is charged, the device won't respond.

The next step is a factory reset. I don't know if "any types of resets" include this. For the WiFi you need to:

- Charge the device for an hour.
- Hold the power switch in the off position for 20 seconds.
- Hold the home button down and turn it on.
- Release the home button after the LED or screen changes.

If that doesn't work, then you probably need to open it and restore an image to the card. I have sent you a PM with the link.

I'll be interested to know if you get it going. Unless you have been charging it in the meantime, the battery has probably gone flat and it might not be possible to recharge it.
