Well....I don't think the outrage would have meant as much, y'know?

I stopped reading a previously favorite erotic romance author when she wrote a love scene between a human woman and male wolf-shifter, while he was in his animal form.

ADDED: I don't get from the description that these dragons are actually shapeshifters, by the way. I think they're just dragons.

Correct and there is alot of negative feedback from erotica readers on this one.

The only tennis romance I've read is The Thrill of Victory by Erin St Claire (aka Sandra Brown). I read it when it came out in 1989 and can't honestly remember much about it

There's also Nora Roberts' Opposites Attract but that's one of her books I haven't read yet.

AAR is currently updating their sports romances special titles listings, so maybe we'll get some more current ones.

Thanks for that. I'll keep an eye on AAR. I just don't think Tennis is as popular in general in america, so probably not as popular in fiction.

I have to feel through the characters. Just make me feel something.

Which is another reason I really dislike it when authors revise/"update" their "older" romances before releasing them digitally. They often kill the spark.

On the Twilight, Texas series. See if your library has it. my library has all but book two that one I bought. I'm gonna hold off on Book 3 of the Jubilee series. It's a Christmas book. So I am saving it and the Cookie club one for my Holiday readings later this year.

One thing I love about Ms Wilde Texas books are the in depth characterization that she does. I must find more writers who have that skill. Any recommendations?

More chick-lit than romance, but I really enjoyed the "Cobbled Court Quilts" series by Marie Bostwick.

And have you heard of Lisa Wingate's "Daily, Texas" series?

I really enjoyed Lori Wilde's Twilight Texas series, but I read them in this order, 3-2-1-4, because that's the order I bought them in. I started with the Christmas themed novel because the title and cover appealed to me, and I bought it on a whim. I bought the ebooks at around $6 to $7 each.

I don't mind paying that price for ebooks if I can be sure they are formatted (spelling/grammar) properly. Plus, I only read about one or two books a week at the most.

How did you guys do this week for buying? I'm quite proud, stayed within my $15ish 'budget' and still working on being more strict with my $.991clickbuys. It worked this week somewhat, bought only 5 of them, which allowed me to get 6 from my wishlist which either came on sale or I couponed them.

I was a good girl. t: With the new job, I was too busy and to wiped out at the end of the day to do much. I spent no money but did spend credits. I am waiting for my gift certificates from My Points. I can't wait because $100's will buy the books that I will not wait tell they lower the price. Styxx by Sherrilyn Kenyon being on the top of the list, along with Jayne Castle and Robin D Owens.
