I have just successfully installed some new fonts using the described method! It worked fine on my brandnew PW. The knowledge here and the possibilities these devices offer are both amazing! Thanks!

I am sooooo disappointed, this method worked great on my paperwhite 1 but works no longer on my paperwhite 2 with firmware 5.4.0. Anybody have an idea why?

The PW2 has a folder called "fonts" in the system folder, don't think PW1 had that. I am sure someone will come up with a way to do this eventually. BTY, I tried putting fonts in that folder and it made no difference.

I also fiddled with the Calibre collections plugin for paperwhite 1 and the plugin saw the fonts saved in the fonts folder on the root of the PW2 but of course, and as expected, could not save the font change in the collections setting dialog to the PW2.

im almost quitting installins apps on my kindle.
its jailbreaked and has kual in it. but no matter ewhere a put the app files, thhey dont work...

can any1 help me?

I’m trying to download fonthack-1.3.2.zip from the provided link, and getting only 0Kb file. Have tried a couple of different browsers. And seems to apply to other downloads there as well.

Any suggestions?
