So, did I already mention there was more rain coming?

Well, there was. And more. And even more than that more. Oh, it was also storming. And the water rain was falling horizontally... And there more rain! And even more than that!

The bike cellar (which is about 1m below street level) was already filling up. The doors couldn't be opened, because there was about 1m of water standing against it. The "normal" cellar, which is about 2 1/2m below street level, was also already filling up. The climate control had stopped. Water was flowing down the elevator shaft.

So, they told us to leave the building and go home... They will probably have to shut off all systems and it's the kind of building that can't do without climate control, for one, and as 99% of the people use PC's, it's no use to stay...

they said it was a "roll cloud"...

(I know the site is in Dutch, but video doesn't need language!)

I've never ever seen storm weather like this...

When I took the métro this afternoon, we skipped one station because it was flooded, according to the announcements Most likely the water on the sidewalks rushed down the stairs, making them dangerous or just unusable. I have seen this happen with summer showers. A métro flash flood (I looked as we passed the station but was disappointed, no water in sight.)
