Well, even though Fbone seems to know it, I'll give another quote;
“Prime numbers are what is left when you have taken all the patterns away. I think prime numbers are like life. They are very logical but you could never work out the rules, even if you spent all your time thinking about them.” |

I'm going with the Life of Pi. I haven't read the book yet, and from what I know about it, it doesn't sound like it would have a math quote in it, but just based on the name, I'm going with the Life of Pi.

Not Life of Pi or Carl Sagan.
Two more quotes. I think if you have read the book you'll get it from these. “And I know I can do this because I went to London on my own, and because I solved the mystery…and I was brave and I wrote a book and that means I can do anything.” "Everyone has learning difficulties, because learning to speak French or understanding relativity is difficult.” |

Not Danica McKeller, no.
Some clues; the book was written in 2003, the book is written from the perspective of a 15 year old autistic boy, it won the Whitbread Book of the Year award, the title comes from a comment made by Sherlock Holmes in the short story Silver Blaze. |

Well, I can get the book from the final clue.
"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" bu Mark Haddon but I haven't read it, so perhaps someone who has read it and restrained themselves should post the next one (Fbone?). |

Wow, I read it and had no idea from the quotes. Of course I read it six years ago and there's been a lot in-between. I remember enjoying the book a lot when I read it.

OK - while no one's looking, here's a fun one:
“I couldn't be fonder of you if you were my own son. But, well, if you lose a son, its possible to get another." |
