I guess that I'll have a heart attach now. I had three slices of Chicago deep dish pizza.

pasta al pesto, "propellers" cooked together with green tiny string beans and slices of potat o es. Romano and Parmesan. Half a glass of Barbera d'Asti. Nespresso to follow.

I believe in ergodicity of food.
A lot to me, too little to you, makes a reasonable average.

I had just a little of it though. Half a helping.

The pasta was fresh.

Lovage soup - not really soup weather, but there's lots of lovage in the in-laws' garden, and if you eat it warm but not hot with some crusty bread...mmmmm.

I could eat that;
On my plate: dried figs,dates,abricots,all kind of nuts. I'm just too tired to eat out and I love these fruits and nuts.

I love nuts as well and can easily overdo it.

For diabetics or those who just want to watch their carbs (me) -

I made real homemade macaroni and cheese from scratch. OK, maybe that's not high cuisine but it didn't bump my blood sugar up at all.

I used the Dreamfields elbow macaroni and it really is good. High fiber, low carbs, and it tastes just like the stuff that'll kill you. What more could you ask for.

I've used the elbow macaroni and the angel hair pasta a number of times. Macaroni salad was great. Next I'll make lasagna. After that, linguine with white clam sauce.
