Yea there are about 50,000 species of conifer. Youre average garden conifer, oft clipped into hedges or bird shapes, is a Cypress, the christmas tree is a spruce, a close relative is a fir, and both are related to pines.

Not that easy getting a macro shot with limited resources aboard a vessel in the middle of the North Sea, but this, albeit slightly out of focus, should be fairly easy.
