I also have ocean sounds which is excellent, as well as recordings of various other sounds from nature. I really enjoy them. If I can't be at the source where the music of nature is then at least I can submerge myself in a recording of its splendid symphony!

Hot but still pleasant here - humidity staying low.

Fireworks displays all around tonight - baby cat will be under the chest of drawers - this sound affects her like thunder!

It's 90⁰ (32⁰C) outside, but the humidity is only 38%.

Someone in the neighborhood went crazy (and two days early) with the fireworks last night a few houses down from us. They were spectacular. My wife, Norton, and I went out to watch. Norton was a bit startled by the first one, glanced up at the second, and then lost all interest and didn't even bother to look at any more.

The area hasn't had anything but brief showers in quite a while. The vegetation is really dry. Hope there are no fires with the fireworks. A few years ago, some kid started a fire in a nearby farmer's field and ruined all his crops.

Traditionally this kind of weather kicks off on July 4th. This year it arrived with Memorial Day.

Yeah - the rest of the summer should be in the 90's F with equal humidity levels.
