M96 + T68. Updates and more ...

The issue for me in NeoReader is that the big stylus frequently activates the menus or other functions easily when I am holding it above but without touching the screen.

Also, the stylus tends to select a whole sentence instead a single word in either Intelligent or Precise mode.

I haven't read all the comments, but since the last update I cannot select text for highlights and comments anymore... I don't know whether it is update related, or maybe some other problem. I tried rebooting, but the problem persists...
any clues?

I had to enable "Big Pen" in the user settings of the device and now I can again highlight text

Here is the previous update version: www.ereader-store.de/DATA/M96/Archive/update.zip
Just install it as usual in order to roll back, if you have some problem with new version.
We are fixing those reported issues in new update , caused by different versions of digitizer. Sorry for troubles! I will post the fixed update ASAP

I am having the same issue ... I've deleted apps, moved some apps to the sdcard, and still not enough space.

we, I foound wha i was missng: "root", doesn't mean the / folder, accessible only f the device is rooted.

it means the root of the non rooted sysem,, that is /sdcard (if I remember correctly).

I put the thing there and it woorked.

Hi man, I've recently received my M96 from ereader-store with the last update and I've noticed you've deodexed the system apps and I think it slows down the system and forces FCs with some apps that work good on my T68 with the prior rom. Could you leave the system apps odexed on your next update? Thanks a lot.

This doesn't work for me. I still get 'not enough space.'

I confess I am completely at a loss. I've removed pretty much all apps I installed. Any data I had was on an external SD card. I have no idea what is taking up so much space, and I don't know what is safe to delete at this point. I am pretty sure anything I may have downloaded to internal storage is gone.

It doesn't help that any app that displays disk usage has reported different values for what is available internally. I guess I need to look for some sort of disk cleanup application ... I'm wasting far too much time with this.

REVISED ADDENDUM: OK, as usually happens, I now feel very dumb.

I read Alf77's message more carefully, and realized I needed to put the file in /sdcard, NOT in /root. I'm now updating. Duh.

Also, you can easily update your device through the recovery bootloader. First of all, make a backup of what you consider important on your devices, then with the reader off, if you press back and power at the same time you enter in recovery mode, then apply a "wipe data/factory reset" and afterwards "apply update from external storage, be patient because it takes time.

Try what I pointed out in my last post in this thread. It is feasible to recover your bricked device with the bootloader and the update.zip placed on your SD card

i pressed power on and back button but not entering into bootloader. In the thread by booxtor for recovering bricked T68, he didn't posted zip file for M96. Pls give best advise. Is it ok to use latest update.zip file for recovery of M96?
