I can't get a straight count on my series as my Calibre library is still a bit of a mess when it comes to that info. I do know it would be a very large number, although this year so far I've managed to read quite a few new to me series (maybe 20 or so) completely, at least until the next book Some were only 3 or 4 books, but a couple were in the teens and twenties.

Right now I'm just starting the newest book in Laura Griffin's Tracers series which was a new to me series, even though I'd had some of the books for years.

Odd misleading blurb. The story is nothing like that. It's not even really a romance and I believe the author has said time and time again it's YA not NA. It's a coming of age story. It was okay for me nothing really special. The male lead has little to no page time really.

I loved Easy. It was a 5 star read for me. I read this before I was familiar with the New Adult term. I would call it NA though, not YA. To me YA would be much younger characters. But since since NA thing is still confusing to me, I am no expert. But having read other NA novels, I still hold up Easy as the one NA I loved and the others I mostly didn't. I have pretty much given up on the sub genre.

I think I liked Easy because the hero was not some look at my honey and I'll beat you to a pulp kind of guy. . This hero I found yummy and sexy. I thought there was a lot of heart in this one.

I wouldn't want to read younger characters though than that. This was as young as I am going to go.

I can't believe its been almost 2 years since I have read that though. Where the heck did the time go.

I loved Easy too. It was the first NA I read and it's why I keep coming back for more.

I agree completely. Easy was one of the first NAs that I read and still one of my favorites. I've pretty much given up on them because it seems like they've turned into a big angst-fest, whereas for me, good NA is about the journey into adulthood. It brings me back to the time when I had just left home and was trying to figure out who I was, who I wanted to be, and how to forge an identity that was separate from my family. Easy definitely gets 5 stars from me.

apesmon, make it six. I haven't read "Easy" and, after the comments, I'm afraid I'm not going to do it (I'm not into YA or NA, too old and too books read like this when I was young, Italian or French translated into Spanish but the same).

But I have an ARC of "Shield of Winter" and I'm enjoying it... big time.
