Actually, I managed to dodge it, though not without some interrupted sleep. Thanks for asking.

Very soon I am going for a long walk, and not off a short pier (just a lunchtime semi-exercise walk around Weyba Creek). Then I'll be making pasta, to go with yesterday's pesto.

My sister, who lives in America, has gone into labour and is heading to hospital just now. This will be their fourth son -- and I am waiting anxiously for news. It is times like this when it is hard to live so far away. Even worse, I have to go to work and wait anxiously there.

Right now - debating whether to go and get some painkillers, dashing off some SLAs after having seen the complex list the rest of the team came up with

and wondering whether another square of chocolate would help the headache or make it worse...
