I was unsuccessful using the 75off coupon on my laptop after using it on my PC so cookies don't appear to be the link for re-use (but the code is still valid 1x per account per browser )

Can anyone tell me how to get to the categories on kobo? I can't seem to get to Fiction and then narrow to to specific categories.

Edited to say I've managed to get where I need to be and have bookmarked the link. Kobo don't make it easy do they!

I had the same problem after using the 80% code a few days ago.

Actually I just noticed that it is still listed as "pre order" on the US site to be released on the 2nd December. If I can hold my frustration level until then I may wait until then to give it a final try before accepting the credit. Who knows by then it will probably have dropped in price on Amazon anyway.

Excellent, thanks, kdnewton and whoever it was who found the 95% code (Blue2u?).

75off worked fine on this machine, which is running an old version of MacOS and therefore an older version of Safari and the old site. 95comic did not work, saying it had already been redeemed, but I switched over to my iPad and tried it there, and it worked a treat. I knew I was right not to waste the 80% code on Sense of Wonder.

Yep for a new realise by a popular author I would imagine they're gong to get a lot of calls about it if they don't fix it quick, problem is I think when they do upload an epub version the one I purchased will disappear from my library. I'm willing to wait and see but I'll bet it will disappear I have the email receipt so no big deal just annoying.

Has anyone who has access to both old and new sites (I get the old site on my iPad using Dolphin) noticed pricing inconsistencies? If I search for the book Calling Me Home by Julie Kibler on the new site or from my Kobo it's $11.99. If I search on Dolphin on the old site it's $1.99 (which is the price on Amazon right now as well). I bought it on the old site for $1.99. Weird...

Yes and no. You have to remember that people with problems are more likely to voice their experiences and opinions. Also most people most likely are happy to just download to their ereader or their kobo app on a tablet. Personally I can't be bothered to do mass reading on a tablet or cell phone, but I can understand their use for light readers. Those people will never experience the problems with downloads, so they'll never complain. I think most people on this site use dedicated ereaders (many of whom cross shop and sideload books, maybe back them up) which is why we care more about downloading options.

My complaints are more for when I can't get it in any format, like is the case currently with PDFs. The ones restricted to my phone/tablet apps are in my experience graphic heavy or large layout books so I don't feel too bad about it.

To fully take advantage of the 95comic code I have ordered a small chapters indigo egift card. Oddly enough they asked me for documents to verify the card despite having accepted it at the beginning of the month no problem. Thankfully the verification seems to have been done quite quickly so I will get it today and avoid that silly bug where they block your card after six purchases...


edit: have I mentioned how much I LOVE Kobo's glitchiness?
