have you ever had a good one? Tequila is like scotch, there's good, bad, and basic paint thinner. For sipping, go for at least reposado. Añejo is smoother, and extra Añejo is even smoother. Blanco should be used for mixed drinks only. Most tequila starts with a peppery note and trails off to a fruit or earthy finish.

I must have had the 'paint thinner' variety ....

Think I'll stick with Scotch .... my palate has bonded with it ...
[and yes - there are some Scotch brands that taste like paint thinner too ...]
