When should we start seeing 350/650 in stores

I was in Vancouver last week and managed to get a 650 (black) from the Sony Style store on Granville Street. They were also in stock at the Sony Style store in the Pacific Centre.

Buying in Canada saved me approximately 10% on UK prices

There's a Sony Style store in Schaumburg (alliteration much?) but I haven't made it over that far either. I keep checking the Best Buy and Target in DeKalb, but neither of them has had either the 350 OR the 650 yet when I've been there.

I finally did get to see a 900 up close.. LOVE the size! If I'd had more patience, I probably would have held out for one of those instead of the 600 I got. Maybe next year I can pick up a 950 ...

The Sony store in Woodfield shut down earlier this year. The only true Sony store is either Old Orchard in Skokie or ABT in Glenview. The best bet for your locale may be a drive down 88 to the Aurora outlet mall where there is a Sony outlet store.

Wot?! No longer at Woodfield! Of course, Aurora wouldn't be bad. I haven't been there since I worked for Kroch's & Brentano's and that was AGES ago!

I've finally got mine in Spain through Pixmania store (online), I received it in 24 hours using express delivery and it works well.

I've registered it at sony.es without problems despite they don't sell it to Spain yet. All manuals, documentation and warranty info comes in Spanish too, so I doubt I'd have any problems in the future if it stops working.

PD: The text behind the ebook is written in French.

(this is the black one)
It says the reader's language as dutch, accepting pre-order and estimated to ship in august 1st.
What should I do? I wanted to wait for sonystyle japan, but if this is a better deal.. I just can't wait anymore.. for the past 4 days there have been a slew of forum members posting their prs-650.. I'll have to stop coming here or else I'll go crazy!

It's 27,589 yen, around 260US$, do you people think it will be cheaper in sonystyle?
And for the language, of course there's language change option, am I correct?

Actually, ドイツ語 is German, not Dutch. But yes, you can change the language (and if it's from factory, you can choose the language on startup). Note that it will not have Japanese language support or dictionaries.
I doubt the Japanese model will be released soon, so if you want one quick this is probably a good option.

I stopped into my local Borders (Post/Powell) tonight and they have the PRS 650's in stock. I was so excited I forgot to see if they had the PRS 350's on hand. I was in and out of the store faster that Charlie was when he got the Golden Ticket for Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory tour!

How many 650s were there on-hand? Did you buy one? Would you consider the 350s?
