If you like Trudi Canavan's books, I noticed a few on sale at Kindle US, but I'm slammed for time at the moment (apologies) and don't have time to look and list. Not huge sale prices, just a couple bucks off, but her titles don't go on sale too often. If you have a book or two from this author you're looking for, go take a look...

I enjoyed Mira Grant's Parasitology Trilogy, as well as her Newsflesh Trilogy and Rolling In the Deep series. Like you, I would classify all of these books primarily as horror.
