That is odd. I suppose the app might function differently depending on the device. Sorry I couldn't help. Maybe you should ask this question in the Kobo forum or the forum of the device you're using.

It should be there. O have it there on three different android devices from two different manufacturers and running three different versions of Android and it's always there. What file manager are you using?
Also, one thing, the epubs are decompressed but encrypted. If you want to rescue the epub for dedrming you'll have to copy it when it finishes downloading to your device but before it finishes decompressing. I started a thread on the Kobo forum about drm and the kepubs on the Kobo apps on android where we covered these topics.

I find this particularly ironic as no one has bothered to reply to my email about the book I bought thats impossible to download. No response and no refund.

Just give it time. Kobo has always sorted out any issues I had with them, but it did take some infuriating back and forth with their customer support. It can take them a couple of days to respond.

Have you tried the live chat? That seems to be the fastest way to get things resolved.
