I was just reviewing the Picture Battle description, from the OP, and thought I'd share it. I'm not picking out anyone in particular, I swear, least of all wannabee who only by coincidence is the post before this one.

The thread has evolved into sort of a picture association thread.
When we were playing strictly by the "rules" the thread stalled badly several times.

Maybe association should be a fallback option when nobody's able to properly counter attack. I like the "Picture Battle" thread better than "No Words Allowed" precisely because the "battle" is fun.
