I went top tier; even discounting the rubbish and duplicates of books I already had from previous bundles, there was enough new to me (or that completed series) to be worth it.

The first one was. However I think they changed ghostwriters after the first one, and they quickly went from drek (the second one) to worse than drek (what I could read of the third and fourth).

Just ignore the poo-pooing for the Tek Wor books. I've read all of them and there are worth a read. I even watched the short lived TV series.
