Hot & humid - thunderstorms fired up around 5 pm. Still raining. Feels like a sauna on the deck. Will probably have to mow the lawn again tomorrow night - unless the "strong gusty storms" tonight blow us away!

They're coming down from the northern border. Just had a line of severe storms move through as I was sitting on the deck with a Guinness. Over a half inch of rain in under an hour. Now back to the sauna.

Run an inch of cold water into the tub and sit with your feet in it ... This will cool you down. Also, soak a handkerchief in cold water and wrap it around your neck.

Tips I learned living in the south to use when the power goes out in the summer.
