Today I started my reader and the reading position was lost again. Maybe this time it could be an issues with the last OTA update. But I definitely lost my reading position several times without switching books!

I have never done an OTA update but CR has lost my reading position after going into standby. At least this does not mess with the notes. It is annoying nevertheless.

Maybe CR lost reading position after some kind of unexpected exit

Thanks Brucelee,
Last version installed successfully on InkPad fw5.11, mainly because AdodeReader refused to open some epub book as FB does but does not configure properly the font setting.
Just a tricky point to reset how to open current book (resetting handler.cfg in the same folder than extensions.cfg).

The great job Brucelee and others are doing is fully appreciated. Can anyone give a link to a detailed CR3 installation guide on PB626(Touch Lux 3) running FW 5.12.530 ?

Just copy the contents of the zip file into the main directory on the system storage.

Thanks LucyOne, the latest release(cr3-v0.0.6-17-46-pro5 as I presume), when unzipped, contains three files(readme, package.version, install.sh and "system" folder). Do you suggest copying all these into the main(root) directory of the device or its "system" folder?
I'm asking these questions out of fear of bricking the brand-new device.

Root directory. You won't brick anything, it's just copying files.

By the way, in the device's root directory there is already a "system" folder. Shall I keep both folders when copying?

Just copy the contents of the zip file into the root directory, the two system folders will merge. This is done so that the coolreader files will be in the right directory automatically.

brucelee, do you know the difference of the two entries in the menu for changing the font? I mean "default font face" in the main menu and "font face" in style settings, default paragraph formatting. Does one entry overwrite the other?
Also, lately, I have been having problems with the font size. Coolreader seems to forget the last font size as it was in the book and goes back to the default setting after opening the book again.

I have recently installed CR3 Fork on my Inkpad 840 and I was amazed how much better CR3 is in comparison with standard PocketBook software.

I must says that brucelee did tremendous job with CR3 Fork.

Still I would propose one small feature: after reading few pages, I usually forget the name of the chapter that I am currently reading. Would it be possible to give possibility in CR3 setting to display the name of the chapter instead of book name. Since I usually read just one book at the time, I have no problem to remember to book name, but as I said the name of the chapter is different story :-).
