I'm looking to restore my kobo aura HD (stuck in a restoring loop) from an SD card.
Is it possible to send me the SD image of a Kobo Aura HD please ?

@iterra80: @deniz1: You need to enable Private Messaging. This is in the "Edit Options" of the control panel. If this isn't there, it has to be added somehow. A recent person who had this issue solved it in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=319819.

Hello!
I ruined my kobo aura hd today by installing xcsoar and enabling OTG. Since then, the Display is White, if i press the reset button the Display shows only two thin lines for a short time.
Guess i need a sd-image....

Of couse i made no safe backup��

Hi,

I bought a second hand Kobo Aura HD which didn't start, and I am trying to get new life into it. It seems like a corrupt internal SD card is the cause. Then I found this thread. I know it's several years ago, but can someone please provide me of an image of the SD card for the Kobo Aura HD? That would be of great value.

Hi David, thank you so much for your help and your quick response! Unfortunately restoring the image didn't solve the problem. When I switch the reader on, the white led is on for about three seconds, then flashes nine (or ten) times and eventually switches off. The screen doesn't react at all.
