I've been bleeding mine off by going negative on Energy and Food (without harming my Population). Has worked quite well, down to only 10k excess Bliss, so now I am in the process of building E & F back up again.

I've been considering my military count as dakka not meat shields. Losing them doesn't seem to hurt my population any so it's just the number of missiles bullets and battle droids I have.

If they stop a plague I just assume they kill it with fire.

I wanted to up my population and my Cryocombs are recharging, so I went to buy another and... they're gone? No more Cryocombs available for purchase? Can anyone else confirm this?

Can deal with Arm & Leg factory, except grr, I don't have enough points to surge that twice & still cover the energy cost.

I don't have them, but then I never did. Do they appear at a particular level (I'm on L11)?

EDIT: Actually, I do have them, but weirdly they don't appear if I filter by Population. They show if I display All though.

Somehow filters don't let through some necessary things. When I wanted Cryocombs way back when, I found them only with sorting by cost or surge and then clicking through the pages.

I don't see the Level 5 Tin Pan Alley that was a Bliss-exuding project for Level 4. I also don't see a couple of things which were prior project components which I'd assumed were simply exclusive to the build process and will do a list of once I get back. And I don't see Cryocombs, either.

As for gifts, I've started just letting the system-given Bliss ones expire unless someone's mentioned a specific need for them. I get the feeling that they're just being perpetually re-gifted and cluttering people's hoards until then.

Yowsa, level 14, more than a million bucks a turn, 63K blissed out citizens, and my strategy to have about as much military as bliss seems to be working. (Fewer nasty surprises whack-wise when I log in in the morning.) It'll just about be cheaper to add three allies (2M, 4M, 8M) than go for level 15 though.. .*pondering*
