I was once mobbed by lady traffic wardens on their way, after work, back to the town hall. Lady traffic wardens here are exclusively knockout beautiful for some reason. It's almost a pleasure to get a parking ticket -- to be kissed and cuddled by a whole bunch of them is an experience not to be missed.

Being French my first boyfriend had a holiday home in Menton. ;-) Interesting about the traffic wardens, I can't speak for the ladies but most of the male ones I've seen are visually challenged.

You lucky so and so... living somewhere hot!

Hya MTM: I decided many moons ago that, with internet, coincidence is all but inevitable. And, yep, Menton ain't the worst address I've had in my life. Hailing from Edinburgh in the frozen wastes of Scotland, the climate here is a daliy treat. Right now, I'm working on the terrace; clear blue skies, all the colours of the region blazing around me, and the sun twinkling bright off the Mediterranean a few hundred yards distant.
