Meanwhile the cover has done "the Iliad's" too... One month has been added to the expected shipping date. "Expected ship date is March 21." The interesting thing is that I could take this fact quite easily. Not a bad result after having had a one year training session on how to cope with delays …

Meanwhile I got the new M-edge cover. Enclosed some picture of it.

Brief comments:
+ high quality cover
+ good finish
+ perfect fit (a flexible band at the upper edge of the reader pocket holds the devise firmly)
+ sleek (you can't make a cover much smaller)
+ offers good protection
+ nice inside finish of cover
+ access to all important buttons and connectors

Potential areas of improvement:
- flip bar access with the covers front plate is not optimal
- pen access from reader
- some will feel the front plate is still too flexible (I think it's OK - however if you want a 100% stiff one the irex cover has got that feature)
- In my opinion the closure mechanism could be more sophisticated.

All in all I consider it to be a very good cover with competitive pricing!

I bought one of the M-Edge leather cases with my Iliad (case arrived before the reader did!), but have now returned it.

I found it very difficuylt to get the stylus out, especially in a hurry, but worse than that it was almost impossible to use the flip bar as the retaining strip next to it gets in the way. flipping left was fine, but right was impossible without digging your finger in.

I couldn't recommend it as the flip bar is a key feature of the Iliad. It's a shame because in all other respects its a nice case.
