No need for a credit card, Dale. Just drop me a line of the titles you want and your preferred format and I'll send them over as email attachments, on the house.

I never 'advertise' books for sale here (a wee self-imposed rule when I signed up eighteen months ago), but I'm always happy to oblige MR pals with freebies. As I mentioned earlier, if you've enjoyed a book and mention it to a pal or two, that's payment enough.

No crafty sales gimmick ever invented can beat good, old fashioned word-of-mouth recommendation friend-to-friend.

Cheers. Neil -- ntmarrATbewrite.net (but use the @ sign)

Checked out Border's today and there were 5 books "Free for a Limited Time" including a Lee Child Jack Reacher novel and a Julia Child (no relation) cook book.

Had to pick the 'none of these' option. Multiple choice would have been helpful. fwiw, I purchase from Waterstones (mostly), W H Smith (seldom), and direct from some publishers (Penguin, Corgi, Hachette...)
Also get lots of freebies from Feedbooks, Gutenberg and format shifting the old stuff.

Kobo mostly, as it seems to have the best price for Canadians. I have spent a lot of money in the sony store over the years, but I won't buy from them again, unless they let me read my purchases on my other devices. That is anothern reason I now prefer kobo and amazon.

I checked "anywhere" but I refuse to go near Barnes & Noble. My Fictionwise purchases didn't taper off, more like a screeching halt. I have high hopes for Borders. My first stop is usually Inkmesh.

Thanks, I hadn't heard about Inkmesh. Now it's bookmarked!

I buy from the Sony store. I have looked at other sites, but it seems that for the particular titles I check, Sony has them for about the same price so I end up buying from there.
