FaceTime is a group of technologies put together that make video calling simple - as I said further up the thread, like Skype, but without the computer. If your phone has it, why wouldn't you use it? I would.

In that case, that's PC to PC calls and not international calls (although the call can be international) as Yahoo Messenger call to another Yahoo Messenger can not be considered as international calls too. You can do the same thing with Google Talk, MSN and some others.

Yes, but that's just using your phone as a video camera to record movies. I don't think it has a bearing on whether people are making video phone calls.

I think it's a matter of people getting used to using video and using the next video function.
