In my opinion, kindle is better than nook. But with nook you can enjoy sorts of free services in their store. Even so, i would like to pick kindle 2 due to the kindle dictionary.

I bought the $149 Nook. For me having access to public library ebooks was a major selling point. But I also found the Nook to be quite attractive and acceptably quick.
