That is one reason I am holding off getting one until announcements are made. Then I can make up my mind, I hope.

As I saw, the refurbished models are on sale (PRS600 at $159.99)

Yep, I emailed Sony letting them know that I want the processor, OS and hard drive of the 600 in the form factor of the 505 with the contrast of the 300.

Not that I'll ever see it. I was considering a Kobo as a back up for my 505 since it has the larger HDD and all but I have heard bad stuff about it so I am just babying my 505 to make it last as long as possible.
