Can Anyone help me? I want to read russian rtf books on my prs-500. But i don't know what to do. Can someone explain to me completely? What i need and what i must do? Does that hacking involve with the firmware?

I have applied hacked Russian firmware to my PRS-500. It is a very non-trivial operation and you have to follow instructions written in Russian.
Search this forum for PRS-500, russification, and user Porkupan.

There is a step-by-step instruction in Russian at http://www.the-ebook.org/ discussion forum.

I consider myself fairly advanced hacker and I had to fight tooth and nail to get it installed. But ... my Russian is quite rusty ;-)

You do need memory card.
Perhaps it can be done without, but you would be further complicating the process.
