I'm using the webpage. Works perfectly fine; actually, better in my experience. For some reason the OPDS in Stanza was always VERY slow to work with.

Can you post a little HOWTO, I'll add it to the calibre FAQ for new users wanting a convenient way to access their calibre libraries on the iPad.

Kovid,
Readme does not use the OPDS feed, and cannot access Feedbooks or others.
I've been in contact with the lead developer, and I convinced him of the interest of OPDS support ! But it's a low priority feature for them...
Cheers,
David.

Aneesoft wrote an article, "top 20 best free apps list" for the iPad. A few things on there I didn't know about. But what I don't get is there are 4 items that aren't free. So maybe they meant the list was free.

Without the device in front of me, it goes roughly like this (will edit it later with more detail):
1. Add your books to calibre. Convert to ePub if necessary.
2. Start calibre-server and note the port.
3. Find your ip if necessary.
4. On your iPad connected to the same wireless network as your computer, open readMe.
5. Press the plus icon to add a book.
6. You can add the server address for your calibre server or access it directly. The format is http://serveriport/. For example, http://192.168.10.6:8080.
7. Click the link to your server.
8. Click an ePub book.
9. Wait for the file to download. The book will automatically show up in your readMe library.
10. Select the book from your library and read!

Books:

News:
Fluesnt News
USA Today
Reuters

Games:
Chess
Backgammon
Real Racing

And that list leaves out many I like as well.

Thanks, nikkie! I tried it, following your instructions, and it works very well. Not all of my books showed up though, just the most recent (I have a large collection) Is that normal?

There's multiple pages, and a search function. You may need to page through or search to find the one you want.
